Florida Paycheck Calculator
Estimate your take-home pay in Florida after federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare.
About this Florida paycheck calculator
This is the CalcPaid paycheck calculator with Florida already selected. Enter how much you earn and how often you are paid, and it estimates your 2026 take-home pay after federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare. Florida has no state income tax, so the estimate has none to take out.
It runs the same calculation as the US Paycheck Calculator. If you work in a different state, choose it in the calculator above.
Everything is calculated in your browser. Your figures are never sent to a server, written to the address bar or stored. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits, which sees that this page was opened, not what you typed into it. The privacy page has the detail.
What the calculator applies for Florida
- Florida does not levy a state income tax on wages. Article VII, section 5(a) of the Florida Constitution limits any tax on the income of people who live in Florida to what could be credited against or deducted from a similar federal tax. The federal credit that limit is tied to no longer exists, and Florida levies no individual income tax by statute.
- The calculator adds nothing for Florida. It takes out no Florida income tax, no Florida payroll contribution and no city or county income tax.
- Your paycheck still has deductions. In this estimate, what comes out of Florida pay is federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare, plus anything you enter as a deduction, such as 401(k) contributions or health insurance premiums.
- Checked at the source. How the calculator treats Florida was checked directly against the text of the Florida Constitution.
An estimate, not your pay stub
The result is an annualized estimate rather than an exact payroll withholding calculation. Your employer’s payroll system works pay period by pay period, using the withholding forms you filed and your year-to-date pay — information this calculator does not have — so the figure on a given paycheck can fall either side of the one shown here.
Your pay stub is the authority on what was actually withheld, and your tax return is the authority on what you finally owe for the year.
