Terms of Use
CalcPaid is free to use. These terms set out what that means on both sides.
Using the site
By using CalcPaid you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. You may use the calculators for personal or business purposes, as many times as you like, without payment, registration or attribution.
No professional advice
CalcPaid provides general information and estimates. It is not tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, financial advice or investment advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship of any kind. For decisions that matter — filing a return, negotiating compensation, choosing benefit elections, planning for retirement — consult a qualified professional who can consider your full circumstances.
Estimates, not guarantees
The calculators apply published federal and state tax rules to the figures you enter. Tax law changes, agencies publish corrections, employers apply their own payroll practices, and individual circumstances vary. We make no warranty that any result is accurate, current, complete or suitable for your situation. See the full disclaimer for the specific reasons a result may differ from your actual paycheck.
Provided as-is
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalcPaid and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage — including lost income, lost savings, tax penalties, or indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages — arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything you calculated with it. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the figures you enter and for the decisions you make. Verify anything important against your actual payslip, your employer's payroll department, the relevant tax authority, or a professional adviser before acting on it.
Intellectual property
The CalcPaid name, design, written content and software are the property of their respective owners and are protected by copyright. Tax rates, brackets and thresholds themselves are public facts published by government agencies and belong to no one. You may share links to any page freely.
Third-party links
Where CalcPaid links to a government agency or other external site, that site is not under our control and we are not responsible for its content, accuracy or privacy practices.
Changes
We may update these terms, the calculators, or the tax data behind them at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date below.
