Nevada Paycheck Calculator

Estimate your take-home pay in Nevada after federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare.

About this Nevada paycheck calculator

This is the CalcPaid paycheck calculator with Nevada already selected. Enter how much you earn and how often you are paid, and it estimates your 2026 take-home pay after federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare. Nevada has no state income tax, so the estimate has none to take out.

It runs the same calculation as the US Paycheck Calculator. If you work in a different state, choose it in the calculator above.

Everything is calculated in your browser. Your figures are never sent to a server, written to the address bar or stored. The site uses Google Analytics to count visits, which sees that this page was opened, not what you typed into it. The privacy page has the detail.

What the calculator applies for Nevada

  • The Nevada Constitution forbids an income tax on wages. Article 10, section 1(9) says no income tax may be levied on the wages or personal income of natural persons. The same subsection makes an exception for taxes on business income, which do not reach wages.
  • The calculator adds nothing for Nevada. It takes out no Nevada income tax, no Nevada payroll contribution and no city or county income tax.
  • Your paycheck still has deductions. In this estimate, what comes out of Nevada pay is federal income tax, Social Security and Medicare, plus anything you enter as a deduction, such as 401(k) contributions or health insurance premiums.
  • Checked against the constitution’s wording. How the calculator treats Nevada was checked against the wording of article 10, section 1(9) of the Nevada Constitution.

An estimate, not your pay stub

The result is an annualized estimate rather than an exact payroll withholding calculation. Your employer’s payroll system works pay period by pay period, using the withholding forms you filed and your year-to-date pay — information this calculator does not have — so the figure on a given paycheck can fall either side of the one shown here.

Your pay stub is the authority on what was actually withheld, and your tax return is the authority on what you finally owe for the year.
